   this song in my opinion is about regret how he treated her the fear of her falling inlove because of her past relationship him withnessing her being treated the way she is suppose to he treat..he realised how perfect her flaws are... regret is worse than loss. because you withness what you have loss and moving on picking up the peaces is the hardest part..

   She was scared to fall in love every again. He acted like he loved her just to fuck with her and she gets hurt. When she's about to fall in love again she loves him but she can't get hurt again.She wants love but due to her past every boys says they're not the same as the last one but then she gets fucked over. She's losing control of her emotions and her feelings. She doesnt' want to get hurt but it still happens and even thought due to the past she keeps going back to the same guys. And gets heart broken.
