Sea Wolf - The Garden That You Planted Meaning
The Garden That You Planted Lyrics
-
Its about A.W and S.K
-
Two lovers separated by a curse. She was locked away from him and he can't take it any longer. Being away from her caused him to turn to drugs but they aren't helping him cope any longer. When they were together she planted a garden and then like Adam and Eve she was driven from it. He remains there but it is torture because it constantly reminds him of her. He longs for her to wake up in her prison and find her way back to him. He is losing faith that this miracle can happen. His memory is fading and if he can't wake her they will both cease to exist soon.

I thought maybe the narrator is sick, in the hospital, and he is calling out for a friend to be by his side during his last days. The drugs he is taking is making him feel horrible and tired all the time. Plus staying alive is becoming work. The garden that she planted is probably a metaphorical place in his mind that he escapes into, to get away from reality. Hence it thrives throughout the seasons.
Okay typing on my phone is annoying. But so basically that is my interpretation of the song. -
I think it's pretty much just saying that he liked this girl, and now they aren't together anymore. Well all the things she ever did he still remembers.
