Silverstein: My Heroine Meaning
Song Released: 2006
My Heroine Lyrics
The drugs begin to peak
A smile of joy arrives in me
But sedation changes to panic and nausea
And breath starts to shorten
And heartbeats pound softer
You won't try to save me!
You just want to hurt me and leave me desperate!
You...

I believe that the song is talking about about his ex-girlfriend and that he needs her as much as he needs heroine. By this I meen that she broke up with him because of his addiction.

I think that this song suprisingly relates to heroine.I think the song is about an addiction that one of the band members had to heroine(not neccessarly the singer). I think that he has an addiction but wants to quit.He is trying to talk himself out of it. "You just want to hurt me", because of a girl. I think the reason he wants to quit for the girl because he wants her more than drugs, "you're my heroine". Well, there you go.
