    I think this song is about a conversation between to people and he is saying that the person is unappreciative and that it is too late to apologize because he's gone this song carries a message that's say don't take the ones you love for granted because they can be gone in a flash

    The message of this song is pretty obvious!
    The song is about a really bad relationship. Not necessarily about loved ones. Could be partners or friends.
    The singer is sick and tired of being lead on a leash and wan't to take the lead because he believes that he was born to lead. And says that as the other person does not want to follow he is leaving. "you don't like being second, l don't like being wrong"
