Static-X: Push It Meaning
Song Released: 1999
Push It Lyrics
I'm spilling blood and I cant,
Hardly contain it,
Corrosive hallowing the hand,
Stiffened I eat away,
Eat, Eat into the surface.
Yeah, you push it! (x6)
Explosive more violent more violent,
All consuming...

The title of the record was taken from Michael Lesy’s 1973 book of the same name. This book is a collection of photographs of deceased persons who had priorly lived in the Black River Falls of Wisconsin region in the late 19th century. The book intrigued the band and inspired the name of the album.
In an interview regarding the record, frontman Wayne Static explained, “[It’s] actually a book title that we stole. It’s been out of print for about 20 years. It’s a historical book about life in this small town in Wisconsin from 1890 to 1900. And it’s about everything that happened, but it focuses on people dying and how they died. And there are pictures of dead people as well as stuff about natural disasters and fires and stuff like that.” -
It is clear the song is about someone so lost in sin that they have been relegated to only an observer watching in horror as what seems to be another entity controls them in the execution of all manner of evil. The limited lyrics are a full harvest of dastardly equations. So in a manner almost all interpretations will contain some "truth," on the composers intended meaning. It is a song about being possessiveness given over to sin in such a manner you begun to hate and loath all that is called good. This hatred runs so deep and is so venomous it is like corrosive substance running in the veins. It references a crucifixion and that is a mind word that evokes reference to the cross and its purpose further shoring up the lyrics are being directed from the opposition to the crusifictions purpose. In summary, this song is about becoming so self absorbed and narcissistic that you become a corrosive substance to society, who in some right are corrosive as well. This produces the toxicity of hate, and one becomes to rely on and even need the hate...again the song is assembled in a confusing and chaotic manner on purpose and that is a technique that allows a garden of meanings to come forth as the actual notes you become submerged in begin to speak to your soul...good vs. Evil and choosing the loosing side in spite of your knowledge of the outcome.

Always thought this song was about sex and the need for it. I just always got that vibe from it. I think maybe it's open to interpretation though.

My Friends Found a very sexual meaning to this song. But I Think This Song Is About Drugs.
-
This song talks about drugs, how it consumes and corrodes you, how it acts violently, but the singer needs it...
Read the lyrics, it's self-explanatory.
