Tenth Avenue North: Worn Meaning
-
When I sing this song as my prayer to God, I believe every word of it. I struggle with depression and sometimes I am just tired of having so much guilt and shame and this song really shows that God is there and I'm calling to him and he is walking alongside me. It shows that even though it seems impossible to get out of something, there is a sliver of hope that we need to hold on to. That's what I'm holding on to now. It's not easy, and I'm not trying to speak for someone else, but this is my interpretation.

This song means so much to me for so many reasons, so I really feel the need to write about it. To me it represents someone who has suffered so much that they feel like they can't go on and they so badly want to know that God is there, because to them they are alone and he is all they have left.

To me worn stands for someone giving up they can't handle any more. When they sing "so I cry out with all that I have left" they saying that they're done this is it. When they say "I'm worn so heaven come and flood my eyes" to me that means Their asking God please come, come help me reach freedom.
Ik it's kinda sad but that's my interpretation of it
