My Sweet Summer Lyrics
My Sweet Summer is gone,
She left me here
With sand in my bed,
She played me all night long.

My Sweet Summer is gone
And on my mirror, she made it clear,

my interpretation is that he was someone who lived in a beach town and during summer a girl came on vacation and then they had a little fling and he really fell in love with her but she left without warning and he was used bc she had a different life and relationship back home and the books she left in his bed were like memories of what happened, but he loved her so he’d do it all over again.

A man was played. Very touching story.

It could be about this guy having this huge experience with this girl named Summer. Or it could just be this guy taking about summer, as in the season. He talks about how summer was there at one moment and then just left so sudden without a warning. This could work for both the season or the girl theory.

It could be just the actual summer. Or a girl named summer. It could also be the most common interpretation of just a girl who left and the time period was summertime

-
He falls in love with a girl but shes just using him for a fun time and to cheat on her husband/boyfriend for the summer while shes on vacation but he ends up falling in love with her.
-
He had a girlfriend and when he woke up the next morning, she left him. She wrote on his mirror with lipstick to tell him that she left him. She left a paper with her number on his dresser, but he just smoked weed with it, since that's all she wanted with him.
