    I love it when you call, is about two people in love, one is crazy for the other, but the other is just casual about it and just goes on with things, everything that the person does, is backstabbed by the other, because all the effort put in to doing something, when the other just takes credit for it, it's about what they go through, and how they deal with it, because when the first calls, the other doesn't pick up, neither does he/she call, which makes the first person sad.

    This song is about every backstabbing boyfriend/girlfriend/friend in the world. It's about someone who got left behind because their friend moved on to better things. They used to be really close however nowadays the friend who moved on doesn't even give his/her old friend the time of day. The old friend still cares deeply and doesn't understand why it's so difficult to remain in contact with each other.
