    its a love song as in no matter what problem they face they will always be together just like a cello tape.

    I think the song might be referring to a long love life that is coming to an end, but whoever it is is trying to 'hang' on, and try to use sellotape to piece together broken pieces to their 'puzzle.'
    But I dunno.
