Trapt: Headstrong Meaning
Headstrong Lyrics
Contemplating everything you ever said
Now I see the truth, I got doubt
A different motive in your eyes and now I’m out
See you later
I see your fantasy, you want to make it a reality paved...

#1 top rated interpretation:I would have to disagree with the interpretation of what "headstrong" actually means. I feel it means a person who is stubborn or steadfast in their beliefs; a person who will not back down to whatever assaults or harassments ensue. Basically, he is saying, "I see the truth... you're full of shit and I'm not buying it so back the fuck off." Yeah, that is what Headstrong by Trapt means.

I think it’s about poor leadership, and not back down against any authority if their intentions clearly aren’t pure. Headstrong to take on anyone
-
It’s about the visitation, the mental analysis, and the execution. The circling of your mind comes after the silence of the Visitor.
-
The way I interpreted it is never backing down from a challenges, obstacles, or people.
-
I think they are singing about manipulation. Probably from years of being manipulated, or something. It says "I see your motives inside, desiscions to hide.." It's talking about being manipulated many times, and not falling for it again.
-
Headstrong is about being able to fight using you're mind, not body strength and power. Its the fact that you know what to do and when to do it, out smarting the person. "Headstrong to take you on" is saying that they know how to win and know their own advantages and disadvantages.

i think that headstrong by trapt is probably about how somepeople feel the to kick or punch something or someone when they get angry, for example when i get really angry i sometimes accidently take out my anger on my friends but only my girlfriend can truly calm me either that or its all over for everyone my secret side escapes and the monster inside me takes over
