    I think that this is a great song. I love the tune and it's very catchy but I think that Shut up and Dance with me means that the girl was kind of joking like Shut up and then she wanted to dance so she said Shut Up and Dance With Me.

    I THINK this is not a solid idea but, I think that the girl is trying to make some one jealous while he thinks that she likes him and he likes her while she's trying to get with someone else. Because she says don't look back like the other guy is watching (keep your eyes on) pretend you're interested in me.
