Wyclef Jean: Perfect Gentleman Meaning
Perfect Gentleman Lyrics
Yo, meet me at Suzy's Rendez-vous
For every Go-Go Bar
I'ma send this one out to the gentlemen's clubs
Magic City, New York dogs, Rolex
I be seeing y'all up in there late at night
I understand when...

I think this song is talking about several social issues concerning especially young women who " strip to pay their tuition " which we would normally hear. But then again looking at it from a woman's perspective some of them strip because they have been raised when times were tough for them so they used stripping as an alternative to pay off for their education because of financial problems. But people now-a-days misinterpret that and call them hoes but in this song is says it clearly " Just 'cuz she dances go-go;It don't make her a ho, no..." But even with that said I'm not saying that every woman that is in the club strips for their tuition but keep in mind that they are not hoes as most of us men would call them.
