Take Me Home Lyrics
On the rips of your
Old Dress
Twilight
Passed the banks of the
Warm Fire
Whispers in the dark they hit the trees
And they run in to your heart to find mama’s sleeves
Daddy ain’t awake yet and daylight’s gone
You’re afraid of...
-
In my point of view, its about him as a kid, teen either one and his mother has passed away and its night time his dad is asleep and he's still awake hurt, he's saying take me home(heaven). He's telling god to take him randomly cause he misses her and when he says "behind the door im listening she said shes going to fly" that means shes telling the dad she knows shes gong to die. at the end his dad is sick in other words depressed obviously and it looks like he's going to quit but he's trying for his son.
