12 Stones: World So Cold Meaning
World So Cold Lyrics
followed by hate
fueled by the endless questions
no one can answer
a stain
covers your heart
tears you apart just like a sleeping cancer
now I don`t believe men are born to be killers
I don`t believe this world...

I think this is a rather sad song that showcases the wants and destructable tendency's of people to rather live in chaos than to live in peace and harmony like we all seem to understand but never try to accomplish.
The protagonist of the song is someone who is simply seeing all the chaos and knows that it's somewhat impossible to make humanity see the light of life, but his words fall on deaf ears.
One great use of this song would probably be from this DEATH NOTE AMV which follow's Light (The Anti-Hero lead) who has a god complex and thinks he can change the world. The editor knows how dark Light's journey is throughout the series and understands that Light is not a monster, but rather a corruptable human.

This song is about our world, too and I really love the lyrics. It makes you think about things you do in another way and there`s the question: "What Kind of world do we live in?" (I often ask this one to myself). Why do we fight against other People? Can`t we stop war and try to live in peace?
