   For me, it seems like he's waiting for the one he loves to say or do something to show him his love isn't in vain. He feels that the other person doesn't really love him and he's reaching out. Say something...anything....make me stay. In the end, the grim realization that the love he's given isn't returned and he has to let go. It's the ultimate heartbreak to love someone with all your heart and that person doesn't love you back.

   To me it's about a person who has given so much to this person who they love. But the person they love just doesn't show as nearly as much love. So, throughout the song he's asking the person to just say something. Anything. He doesn't want to give up. But he ends up giving in. :'( he just wants to be loved the way he does

   He's asking for the person he loves to just say something. They are feeling as if they have tried so hard to let the other person know how they feel but are still unsure. He feels as if he has no choice but to give up. Very simple song with a straight forward meaning. Tell me you how you feel or I'll have to give up even though I don't want to.
