Aiden: Elizabeth Meaning
Elizabeth Lyrics
Became a witness to the suffering.
Skinned alive, she even took their soul.
Close my eyes.
By the moonlit darkness legend grows.
Torture only child`s play.
Sworn to pledge and gather peasant slaves.
Close...

You are correct this song is about Elizabeth Bathory. It clearly goes through the fact that she killed bathed and drank the blood of virgin women to stay young and beautiful. The thing is that it is a song sung through the eyes of one of her helpers. it is clearly stated in the history about her that many of her helpers did not like to do the things she had them do but they had to because she was royalty and they would be put to death if they did not listen to her.
"Through these cemetery gates we go."
i believe that the helper we were seeing the song through died somehow and thats why they are going to the cemetery. the line underneath also kind of helps with my thoughts.
"with my eyes closed"
so the only way that could have happened is if Elizabeth killed the helper or the king found out about her killing. it is stated in history that all of her helpers were killed and she was confined in her room till the day she died.
so thats my thoughts on this song if i got anything wrong sorry. (my first time posting an interpretation)

It's about the woman in Europe somewhere she was scared of getting old so she killed virgins and bathed in their blood to stay young.
