Sometimes during a search for truth ( in this case Love) you realize that you have been exploited by all those who claim to love you. ( or once claimed to love you) Quite sad actually. A reality none the less. The worst part,I mean absolute worst part is the joy people find in hurting others. The only truth to be found is in asking God to remove the people from your life that have bad intentions and mean to do you harm.Take a step back. Let God work. You may feel alone. You’re not. God is showing you that all you really need is him. He will replace those he removed with those who are good for you and glorify him.It hurts. It’s the price we pay for not following his path in the first place.
Without truth there is no love.- Author unknown -
Tormented and torn apart is one of the lines in this song. It’s unfortunate that in seeking the truth about love we sometimes become exactly that…tormented and torn apart.
-
The song talks about how the protagonist pines for their lover and how they are missing each other.
