    In my opinion. I have been listening to this song and various remixes of this song since i was a child, i am 20 now. The lyrics still hit and stay relevant to my life. How I interprate this song and it's lyrics are like this.
    Yasmin sings about a dark angel who has taken over the world and that she won't bow down, she stays up and fight. That's basically the basic lyrical structure. How it feels for me is that the lyrics about the angel of darkness is about our shadow self, the part of self we neglect, our dark side, bad side, animal side who constantly wants to seek out control and take over our life. "The world is in your hands but i will fight until the end."

    We will always have some sort of conflict with our two selves as long as we exist. Because good cannot exist without evil. And vice versa. This song is not about fighting an external enemy/entity with the sole purpose of taking over the physical world. It's about our own demons trying to take over our world by low self esteem, self sabotagement, toxic habits etc. And how we as "the fighters" will always be at war with ourselves to not let the darkness win.

    In another remix she sings:
    "Hunt. Goes on. Deep in the night. Time to pray. You cannot escape the eternal light. Until my last breath i will fight." Darkness can never win from light, because the light always shines through. The hunt is about our sole quest of finding external validation to deal with our internal conflict as people. Deep in the night refers to the shadow self we don't want others to see. Time to pray is when we finally submit to our shadow self. You cannot escape the light is the realisation that the darkness will never win, neither will the light. We always be at war with good v.s evil. Until my last breath i will fight refers to one's endurance to keep on living life meanwhile they're dealing with their pain and struggles.

    Also this song can relate to the Teen Titans character Raven. Who is half demon, half human and battles with herself to try and do good for humanity knowing her destiney is basically to destroy humanity. But she never gave in and learned how to control herself and help people with all she can and all she has. She never submits to the dark. Even though she is dark, she keeps saving others.

    For me it meant that i can give into my nature but not let the darkness consume me. Rather, be come with the darkness and understand yourself so you can improve yourself and the world around you.

    This song still saves my life

    Idk. I'm writing this on 2021. The song in my opinion is kinda edgy, but awesome at the same time. I wonder what animations O can make with the song wonder

    Since i cant really interpret "Angel of Darkness" lyrics. I choose not to listen to it.It is important to know what you are listening to...especially when kids are listening to it as well.

    Or following from what I said before, the Angel Of Darkness might be cliche stuff, like things people usually follow to keep order in the world, and not a physical being. It's what people think is logical and those who don't think it is considered crazy or weird. It's referred to as the Angel of Darkness because it keeps stuff like what most people see as common sense and lets us be able to somewhat understand and communicate with each other, but at the same time doesn't allow full diversity or for people to always just be themself, because at least a bit of it lives inside all of us creating an illusion that you shouldn't be, nobody how much you're told you can be yourself. The same thing also makes us subconsciously judge those who are different to a certain degree. The good stuff is the Angel and the bad stuff is of Darkness. I think I'm getting a little to deep now-

    Someone who everyone thinks is like an angel, but in reality they're not. Because everyone seems to likes this person they listen to them and that's why 'the world is in you hand'. The person in the viewpoint of the song kind of sees things as what it's really is like, but doesn't really know if they're truly bad which is why they're the 'Angel of Darkness', but will still try to stop them, thus the lines 'but I will fight until the end' and 'don't follow you're command. The Angel of Darkness doesn't also sees themself as good and doing the right things, making things more complicated...

    I don't really know, I'm just an 11 year old trying to interpret a song which nobody seems to know the meaning of *insert shrugging emoji*.
