    She is really in love with him to the point where it becomes dependency. He treats her badly but she loves the dark mysterious side to him so her mistreatment (although she hates it ) keeps her tied in to him. She want to leave him but she can't live without him neither can she live with him. She is tied in and it makes her foolish for she knows it is wrong to love him like that. He is taking advantage of this because he knows that no matter what she says that she could never leave him , he has too much power over her. I think she is afraid of what he could do but part of her enjoys the dark side to him. Although she is afraid of him what scares her more than their fights, would be her life without him.

    Basically He just keeps hurting her
    this could be abuse or cheating
    all the time.
    And she loves him too much to walk away
    so she just keeps being his door mat
    and she feels foolish for it, cause shes being a fool.

    I think what she is saying is she knows he is doing things behind her back, but she feels that he is doing it to take care of her. In which he is but he is doing the wrong things which makes him late at night and seem like he is cheating on her. That is why she is doing like what Alicia Keys said and she is FALLING IN AND OUT OF LOVE!

    I just love the fact that the video is based on Goodfellas one of the best films of all time. I love the song too.

    This song is one of my favourites. It's about infatuation mainly, because she loves him so much and she's not exactly getting the same feelings in return, it's unrequited love and it's painful but she knows it and she wants to leave him and stop the pain but when she forces herself to, she just comes back, and she can't get the courage to get up and leave for good.

    This song is mainly about that she loves her man and wants to leave him, but it hurts cuz she loves him so much. When she does leave, she always comes back to him.
