Beatles: A Hard Day's Night Meaning
Song Released: 1964
A Hard Day's Night Lyrics
and I've been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night
I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get close to you
you do the things that you do
to make me feel all right

#1 top rated interpretation:simple, John Lennon said that Ringo always got sayings mixed up. And talking about a night gigging, he (ringo) said, 'it's been a hard day's night) instead of a hard day's work, or a hard night's work. The genius of Lennon & McCartney done the rest.

REALLY???
IT'S ABOUT GROUPIES AFTER THE CONCERT.
Sxx, read the lyrics again, it's not about practicing musix -
The magic of someone making a mistake...it's like in art, if you make a mistake it gives it personality and it could turn into something great.

Yeah. When Ringo messed up the saying, it became a kind of inside joke with them.

After working on music for many hours, one of the Beatles said "it's been a hard day" yet as he said it, he realized it was dark outside so he quickly switched the word "day" to "night",so it came out: "It's been a hard day...night!" That is what I heard in an interview back in the day...(night?)

Anybody who's ever had a really physically demanding job can understand the meaning of this song. It's about going off to work hard all day, but being glad when you can come back to your woman at night. Great song.
