B.J. Thomas: Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head Meaning
Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head Lyrics
and just like the guy who's feet are too big for his bed,
nothing seems to fit
those,
raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling
so I just did me some talking to the sun,
and I said I didn't like the way...

I think this song is about a guy who gets hit with depression from time to time but he won’t let it get the best of him, and he pushes through and stays positive

This is one of my favorite songs. Has been since I was very small. Even at a very young age it seemed to be a Christian song. The guy is talking about how he knows troubles sorounded him so he prays "I just did me some talking to the sun(son is how I always saw it) and because he has a good relationship with God he tells Him hey stop sleeping on the job. As he talks he realizes complaining and crying do nothing to help. that its okay to see the rain, be in the rain, acknowledged the rain, but dwelling about the rain prevents you from seeing the blue sky sunshine breaking through when its over. He understands that no matter how much rain evil for Ed and bad people pour on his head he is always free in Christ which means even in the rain there is a peaceful blue sky within his heart.

This light-hearted, fun song is about seperating your emotions from external causes. It's about having the ability to maintain your character despite what's going on around you. When I was little is was a favorite song of mine.
