    The song is saying that the girls can do fine on their own, but they keep falling in love anyways. When they deal with a breakup, they remember that they were “born to be alone,” and feel stronger yet hurt on the inside. They only wish they could be done with toxic relationships, yet they continue to fall for toxic people. As black (savage) as they are, they still look for love, like it’s a drug they want to quit.
