Spiderwebs Lyrics

You think that we connect
That the chemistry's correct
Your words walk right through my ears
Presuming I like what I hear

And now I'm stuck in the web
You're spinning
You've got me for your prey

Sorry, I'm not home right now
I'm...

no no no no, its about a guy that would call gwen all the time and she didnt want to talk to him. gwen said it herself. "Seven Days of No Doubt - Vol. 7 - Spiderwebs" type this into youtube and she talks all about it.

Its basically of a guy stalking her, and having to change her whole life for nothing.

Its about a girl acting like she is interested in many different guys at the same time, and all of them doesn't know it. She is manipulating them and getting them interested in her all of them catching them in her spider web. She is very sexualy decieving with all of the guy's. This song isn't something Yahushua would listen to so any followers of Yahushua shouldn't listen to it.

Personally I think the song is about the fact that she(gwen) has fallen for a guy who uses all the right words. But hes playing her and eventually she figures it out. But by then shes already fallen for him even though she knows she'll end up with a broken heart.

I think it stems from a very famous quote by sir walter scott. This quote being "What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive". He has got her all F up to a point where she has to screen her phone calls. She is hurt by him.

I think that it means that her boyfriend is never around to do ANYTHING with her, not even to drop by and say 'Hello', so she's becoming all depressed that she has to screen all her phone calls, and it's all the bf's fault.

I dunno...that's just MY interpretation, so I dunno if it's good or not...

Dude. I have NO idea how you got that. Anyways it seems to me like its one of those songs you feel like hearing when you just broke up on your cheating girl/boyfriend but its not sappy. "Sorry I'm not home right now walking into spiderwebs" seems like someone is tricking her into believing something so she doesn't see the truth of how he's cheating on her and she's figured it out. That is just my personal interpretation.
