Every Grain of Sand Lyrics
the pool of tears beneath my feet/ flood every newborn seed
there's a dying voice within me/ reaching out somewhere
toiling in the danger/and in the morals of despair

this is probably the most religious or spiritual song that's been written in a long time. Dylan acknowledges the presence of God in his life.all of the last lines in each verse is a direct quote of the Bible! as God has said, " i know of every sparrow that falls" i know exactly how many grains of sand there are, just as I've know the number of hairs on every person's body. the first time i heard this song, the hair on my arms stood up. for every believer, this is one of the best interpretations of the existence, knowledge any power of God
