    At a concert they said that the song was about someone who hasn't found his or her "special someone" yet. Missing all these important things (I wasn't there the moment...) in that persons life life but being on the way to meeting them (But I'm on my way, on my way.). And actually with an happy end, ending up with them (I'll be there the morning you come out in white).
