   I really felt touched in the soul by this song. I never understood the lyrics until I really did start to blame it on the weatherman. Once really stepping back and throwing all my life problems at him I feel a lot more at ease with my life pain. Every time it rains I feel at peace knowing I can blame it on the weatherman.

   I always thought it was refering more to a death than too a break-up, but it could really be either. For me this song has always been connected to the other songs on their CD, like "Are you a ghost or are you for real?" which is clearly related to death. The rain is both a metaphor for tears and pain.

   Not sure if this is recent request? But I used to like listening to b*witched they were a sweet little girl group from ireland they should make a come back...Okay what does blame it on the weatherman mean?? Well, it means when things don't go to plan, when things don't work out the way we want them to. It just sorta' takes the blame off us and is saying you know blame the weather for it!It was because it wasn't meant to be. Standing on the shore calling out your name I was here before I could see your face only clouds will see tears are in my eyes empty like my heart why do ya say goodbye! Ahh it's so sad and bitter sweet. But this is what it means, you know just blame the weather for it! Because that's what usually influences people anyway! But when your relationship fails don't go sending michael fish any hate mail it ain't his fault!!
