Camila Cabello: Consequences Meaning
Song Released: 2018
Consequences Lyrics
Glasses on the sink, they didn't fix you
Lonely pillows in a strangers bed
Little voices in my head
Secret keeping, stop the bleeding
Lost a little weight because I wasn't eating
All the songs that I can't listen...

A song base on having consequences when you love a person. There's always consequences when you love a person. It's not all unicorns and rainbows. That's what some people forget. I'm feeling this song because I've just been hurt when I didn't deserve it and they knew that. They didn't finish what they started and making me look like the bad person. I never hurt them once and this what I get for loving them/making them feel loved. I don't know why I'm the only one paying for it. Their actions has consequences too and I don't see them paying for it.

I think this is about Machine Gun Kelly Because of the video, which shows two people collaborating on music and then later fighting about it and going their separate ways.

i feel like this is about lauren. loving lauren had consequences clearly because camila had to give up their friendship just to have more of her and it ended up breaking her heart. i feel like it's because the people around them don't approve of it. she had such a wonderful friendship with lauren but loving her had consequences and the consequences are her and lauren wont be together anymore, they'll date other people plus she lost their friendship.

In my opinion, it's about a (girl or boy) who has to deal with something (heartbreak) after their past relationship with someone. "loving you had consequences" so loving that person led to heartbreak, that's it. Everything that happened in their relationship that got to the point of heartbreak was just scattered into the song. Following that, there’s also a part that says “Every siren that I was ignoring
I'm payin' for it” so she/he had no problem with that other person because they were just feeling the warmth and the safeness of that other person that they felt too, so they just ignored some things about the person they were romantically involved with. Which also goes back to a specific chorus, “Loving you was young, and wild, and free
Loving you was cool, and hot, and sweet
Loving you was sunshine, safe and sound
A steady place to let down my defenses
But loving you had consequences” so yes, they only focused on the feeling of warmth and safeness from that other person.
