Chris Brown: Should've Kissed You Meaning
Should've Kissed You Lyrics
It seems like every time you give me signs,
And I miss it!
I did it again,
I admit it,
I left you standing there,
And now I regret it,
Seems like every time,
I get the chance,
I lose my cool, and I blow...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think its about a guy he's got a major crush on a girl, and they both like eachother. She's been sending him greenlights so obviously she's been flirting or hinting that she likes him. So he kind of knows but on the other hand he's not sure cuz she didnt just go out and say "I like you" she's only been dropping hints. So whenever she's around since he likes her and he's nervous they probably lean into kiss but he stops himself or makes an excuse and she's heartbroken because she think he's gonna kiss her but he doesnt and he feels bad and gets mad at himself for screwing up and drives away but in the end he turns the car around and he kisses her.

"..seems like every time I get the chance..I lose my cool and I know it (and I know it)..and I get all tongue-tied..lost in your eyes..I am a fool and I know it.." There's no brainer, this man simply let go of the person he passiontately loved, not because the person never returned the same feelings, but he was too way shy to say a word. He carries the blame and admits he's a fool to have missed all the chances he had, it's too late now..he can't turn back the hands of the clock..the person is GONE!

This song is actually about a man who likes a girl and has strong feelings for her. The girl too likes him and she shows him the signs. However, he's afraid and nervous to ask her out. He loses courage to speak out his feelings whenever he gets a chance and the girl finally gets over it leaving him regretting and recounting things he should've done when he had chance.

The song is basically about a guy who doesn't know how to show his feeling to the the girl he loves..he wanna be more than a friend to her..he's saying next time he won't stop,he's gonna follow his heart and kiss her cos he's seriously regretting

Honestly, the song can be interpreted in many ways. It could be about missing out on an opportunity when it was there, but then the songs shifts and it's suddenly like redemption. It could be the more common one that people mostly say where it's about a girl/boy not being able to tell him/her about how he/she truly feels to a certain person. It could also be like being faced with something that takes a lot of courage; and once you go for it- it's like everything you feared of just dissapates and it's the best feeling in the world. Either way, I think this has to be one of the best songs i've heard from Chris Brown.

Obviously, this song is about a guy or girl in a different case who doesn't show too much feelings when they go out, the bf/gf gets frustrated, breaks it off, and they regret it. So, next time they WILL show their feelings
