COG: Real Life Meaning
Real Life Lyrics
Integrated, that's all right, just realise.
Exploited, ain't so jaded real life.
Dressed as conscience, masquerading.
I hope you noticed when I said it's not OK,
and I know you're ready.
Into the rip, I'm...

Hmmm a very interesting song by Flynn or which ever one of them wrote it. I'm pretty sure that it indicates a certain time in Flynn's life where he has been used and abused but he's seen it all before but he can't get out of the situation so he's stuck there continually being used and "exploited" in the "firing line".
he then proceeds to wake up and say well I don't like where I am so I'm gonna wake up and realise that there is a "real life" away from this messy situation he is in.
it would also seem that he has told people about the situation he is in whether that be friends or family or the person that is doing this to him. It would also seem that the person that is causing him trouble is suicidal or has some medical condition that is weighing on their mental health that is then inturn affecting and exploiting flynn.
im probably all wrong here and it would be interesting the way other people have interpreted this song
cheers up
