David Archuleta: Touch My Hand Meaning
Song Released: 2009
Touch My Hand Lyrics
Saw you from the stage
Something about the look in your eyes
Something about your beautiful face
In a sea of people
There is only you
I never knew what the song was about
But suddenly now I do
Trying to reach...
-
It's about singing to just one person you see on the stage. It's like you're singing infront of a large crowd and you see someone in the audience and you sing to them the entire time. Like one of those old tricks where they say, "it's less nerve-wrecking if you preform infront of one person instead of 100 people."
-
Okay first off - touch my hand. not touch my hands.
and David is talking about when he's singing and sees a fan, and it seems like they're the only ones there.
"in a sea of people, it was only you"
in the entire crowd, he only saw her.
"only me, only you, and the band"
it was only them, and the music that he could think of.
and with the chorus:
"
Can't let the music stop
Can't let this feeling end
Cause if I do it'll all be over, I'll never see you again
Can't let the music stop
Until I touch your hand
Cause if I do it'll all be over, I'll never get the chance again
I'll never get the chance again
I'll never get the chance again"
well, if he stops singing, and the song/concert ends....HE'LL NEVER MEET THE GIRL!
and by the way, he had an interview with AOL and said this sort of stuff. AND IT MAKES ALOT MORE SENSE!! -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
