Dennis Lloyd: Nevermind Meaning
Song Released: 2018
Nevermind Lyrics
I ain't gonna, I ain't gonna fall back down now
Alright, I'll take it on, take it on me
Take it on me, hm, baby
All I ever ask, ever ask
Are you gonna, are you gonna be my lover?
Tonight, and take it with,...

If two lovers in a relationship one leaves. Tells their friends who convince them to stay away ( and they hold your hands ) never mind meant no negative thoughts toward your lover
-
It's about a guy who is thinks that his girl might meet another guy or her guy friends would hold her hands. I think if she chose him to be her boyfriend, that means she is the only guy she wants to hold hands with. Friends don't hold hands. Holding hands are for those who are in a love relationship. If you do this to a guy friend who is not your boyfriend they would definitely run and stay away from you.

An article states: "I was living in Bangkok and I had a girlfriend during this time, she was traveling and I was jealous," Dennis explains. "Y'know, I thought she might meet someone, might do something, and I was just worried, and I went and I wrote 'Nevermind.'"
-
I believe the song is about a man who wants to be loved but is scared of leaving her or him getting left by someone but she is playing the victim. Thus he states, "Your friends hold you hands".

Forget herpes, even if it's true. To me the song is about a man wanting so much to be with a woman who might be resisting due to the fear of him leaving, which her friends may be warning her about.

"If I left and it made no sense"
Arrested for one of a million arbitrary actions that occur in human life with or without forewarning.
The rest should perfect sense to anyone. -
Dennis is talking about the time when he cheated on his girlfriend and got herpes... thus the reference to "feel my fire", he is referencing the herpes burn on his lips.
