Destiny's Child: Survivor Meaning
Song Released: 2001
Survivor Lyrics
I'm so much better
You thought that I'd be weak without you
But I'm stronger
You thought that I'd be broke without you
But I'm richer
You thought that I'd be sad without you
I laugh harder
You thought I wouldn't...

I think this song refers to an exit of a member of Destiny's Child, and as the musical group continued as a trio, maybe the other members didn't miss whomever left that group.

I like this song. It's really nice to listen to, and it's told from the point of view of someone who's gone through many situations -- good and bad -- in their lives, and have survived and become a whole lot stronger because of it.
After of all of the darkness and sadness
Soon comes happiness
If I surround my self with positive things
I'll gain prosperity
I highly recommend this song for anyone who has survived from what they've experienced in life.
