    I feel like the meaning is obvious in the lyrics, if you know who Dream is.

    basically its about how people want dream to act and look a certain way, and how people think he is just the happiest person on earth with his success.
    Mask is him telling you that he is not the happiest person ever, that he has his own struggles and he wears a smile over his face (his famous mask, just google it) to hide that from everyone.

    the line "always being judged by a bunch of strange faces" comes from over 20 million people who he does not know most of them judge him, and like I said wants him to look and act a certain way.
