This song is to remind you that you are one person one soul . (love your self be your self and be content with your self be kind to nature and people around you. love your family no matter what and no one is perfect we all make mistakes in life and move on but as long as you learn from them and do the right thing and move on . keep loving yourself and don't let anyone change the beautiful person you are . if someone really loves you they will accept the way you are (remember the saying love is blind) inside you will have a great life with no regrets full of love and good times but the clue is do everything from the heart with love!! and dont be a hypocrite.

Taking your life and pinpoint a time when you lost it.
As a child we have to keep them safe. Keep out negative things and protect them at all costs. The world and humanity depends on children. Parents need to keep this in mind and possibly we won't have to return antmore. -
There's a common experience among women who have miscarried children or had stillbirths (which I have), it's that your innocence is lost. Women who've experienced pregnancy loss and are continuing to try to have a baby will never have the same excitement of seeing a positive pregnancy test again. All the hope and joy is now clouded by the fear of what happened before.
Return to Innocence to me means trying to find that innocence in yourself again, the innocence that didn't worry about what awful things could happen, but the joy of living in the moment and the excitement of not knowing the future but also not worrying about it. Innocence means believing in beauty, happiness, love, magic, and all the things we believed in as kids before we started experiencing hardships. -
I have always been in love with this song and it still makes me cry because it speaks of all the things I'll never be or do

I believe its a psycho-spiritual song much like the entire album it came from. It means as you journey into the later stages of life and just before death you 'return to innocence' in the sense that when you die you go back to where you came from before you were born; a place of purity, unconditional love and peace.
-
It’s about the journey of life & traces back from your last days to your younger years and birth- it’s very beautifully haunting.

I live this song. I feel the root of this song is when your at your lowest and feel like you have to change yourself to get ahead in any situation. ( work, relationship.....etc) be proud of yourself, don't change to make others happy, or fit in with anyone. Be yourself, and if you have forgot who you are look into your heart and find YOUR return to innocence.
I am in my forties, and go back to this song at my most down moments in life, ( death of my very close aunt, my grandfather (RIP HUGS AND KISSES) surgery, loss of my job, and facing a huge pile of medical bills) to lift my spirit and find guide nice from loved ones. Find my inner peace and help me think clearly to find the answers I need. -
I have loved this song since it was first released years and years and years ago... Will never forget my surprise though when my ex-fiance's grandmother got into the car while we were playing this on the CD player and began to sing along! She was Spanish and Native American (Jicarilla Apache) and happily shared with us that the non-English lyrics were Tewah - a common trading language used among the Southwestern Tribes of the United States. Don't remember exactly the translation she gave us, but will never forget the phonetic pronunciation lessons she forced on us! Thanks to that awesome lady I know the non-English lyrics to this song better than the rest of it!

the message of this song is to me. i think it about how the www can shatter our idea of beauty and innocence. it is a unique idea like "things which make me say hhm". enigma says, all of these very powerful and supportive junk. laughing, crying, love, emotion, devotion. be careful what you share online because it can all come back to scour you. we all know there are myths around emotion. some enigmas think certain ones are bad. don't give up. grasp there is no "right" way for any particular person to feel in a given scenario. you must be the decider of your senses & emotions. people know that negative feelings are not self-destructive but allowing them to smolder and/or spreading them around in a harmful way only intensifies their "issues". be contemplative and introspective by taking a deep look inward at inherent rage and monetize it. writing and song can potentially dissipate the harmful effects of harbouring vast anger. maybe enigma was initially scared to write a song or not. no one wants to implode or become mount vesuvius but no one else wants to become the next great spectacle like JerryGate. (i made that up- who's jerry that's dumb haha) but sometimes a person is new to a particular territory like cyber-land. especially older types - they are not always web-savvy. take me for instance. i am in my thick middle ages and until very recently i hadn't a clue about the rude climate of the net. it takes a great deal of time to comprehend what is happening in an online technical region and even then i think some folks never get the gist of any of it because the web people never fess up & are like warmongers who hide, yell, scream via typing and create deep wounds or maim with their efforts. no one would even believe this until they have been the headless victim. be proud, be strong as the www rips away innocence and charm. you must cry to try to return to yourself whom has dearly departed. it/the webnet has been compared to the Roman Coliseum and The Wild, Wild, Wild West. i have seen this on the screen with my own eyes which can't see anything else but blood and tissue in the name of technological advancement. guard your brand because that is what you are. manage your personality because you might be an identity fraud. forensic thieves can steal it away at any point in time on the line. hire a talented management group to shred you. it helps your CV in life. but seriously youngsters pay or take heed to the fact that each and every word you type on your laptop and otherwise WILL be connected directly TO you and henceforth be prudent & wise. don't NOT get into the college of your choice because you were face-booked in a nazi outfit with a beer. don't say dense things that wreck your edification opportunities. don't care what people say but i say take care what you say. once i teeted i had sex with a horse, man did my life change quickly. don't wreck your future cash earnings & value & networth by being a netstooge. young people type deliberately and always have a decency modicum on your modem. or you too will be wishing for enigma to return your innocence. your webprint could be the end of the beginning for you or the beginning of the end.

Don't give up, don't give up
To return, to return to innocence.
If you want then laugh
If you must then cry
Be yourself don't hide
Just believe in destiny.
Love this song kinda spiritualistic heart and soul.
