    It is about a relationship that ended up badly.

    It is possible that this song is just about a relationship gone bad but it could also mean that his girlfriend died. "The walls are bare where your pictures were" could mean that he took them down because he couldn't bear to look at them. I believe this song could go either way and I would be curious to know what John Siebels was thinking when he wrote the song.

    This song is about the life of a person that just broke up with their “girlfriend” or boyfriend (for the girls out there). Just realizing that the relationship is really over. The writer shows how they will not be broken and depressed over the brake up but will move on. Although the relationship is over with there are still lasting memories. I love this song when I first broke up with my ex because it really showed that you don’t have to feel like crap or “broken”.
