There You'll Be Lyrics

When I think back on these times
And the dreams we left behind
I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life

When I look back on these days
I look and see your face
You were right there for me

In my dreams I'll always...

Heard this song whilst lying in my lovers arms many times on magic radio and he squeezed my hand when faith sang ...for always.....he
died and I was so lost without him a psychic told me that I'm to remember him with that exact song he came to her...I don't cry anymore when I hear it I close my eyes and feel him holding me still it's an amazing song and has such beautiful lyrics it's helping me stay sane until I meet my love again

I have to write this song but I have to write with faith Hill and do female vocals and we wrote the song as a personal letter to my dad and he had a great heart of his mom but he’s sad about his mom and he always there for me, but this song is important to be more than family and relatives and we’re going to be great song and write about our personal lives and Ben will put strings on it make it more beautiful and the background females are backing me up.

PERFECT song to have in the movie "PEARL HARBOR".

i am asked, often, why do i like the movie? it's about the sneak attack on 12/7/41. we all know what happens.

behind the larger battle scenes, the coffins resting in the hanger.
the escort of a fallen comrade from the cargo transport plane...

the human interest stories, all inequality of deaths, touches us.

it makes sense that Danny had to die. and Evelyn finds comfort with Rafe, and Danny's son.

    but it's more than that...
a stuttering army air corp pilot, getting a girlfriend. navy nurse. proposes to her, then losing her in the battle.

the twists and turns remind us that LIFE is not fair, that those who suffer, will suffer greater... only those who never won anything understand the price of success, as stated by Emily Dickenson.

if you want pure battle, there was a movie, a long time ago: Tora, Tora, Tora.

I can definitely relate to this song. I have only one grandparent still living. My dad's parents are gone, and my mother's mother died in 2016. Her dad is all that I have left now. I never thought Id sit back and have them now only in my memories. I realize now after this song, that we take loved ones company for granted. Treasure each moment you have with your parents, grandparents, or whoever you admire. One day, you too will be listening to this song and wishing they were still with you, just as I do my grandparents.

I think this song can have many meanings. But the one meaning that stands out for me, is remembering someone you've lost. It doesn't have to be a lover - though many would interpret it that way - it could be a family member, or a friend.
It's about losing someone, and remembering them and feeling blessed for having them in your life. Remembering their part to play in your life. Always keeping them in your heart and thoughts, even though they are now gone from the world. "In my heart there'll always be a place for you, for all my life" is one of my favourite lyrics from this song. It summarises the meaning of the song so perfectly. This is by far, my favourite Faith Hill song, and one of my favourite songs of all time.
