Fort Minor: Remember The Name Meaning
Remember The Name Lyrics
You ready?! Lets go!
Yeah, for those of you that want to know what we're all about
It's like this y'all (c'mon!)
[Chorus]
This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure,...

I think that it is about three rappers who are the people in the band, who will do anything to make it to the top!(:
-
I generally agree. It is about the band coming together and how it happened, and it is from a third person view. However, if one knew nothing about Fort Minor, than it could just be an inspirational, catchy song. I know that no matter what I'm doing, for some reason this song makes me feel invincible, and I think I speak for everyone else when I say the rhyming and flow was incredible, and it really is like a story.
-
I think its about t-Mac cause it was made in 05 and (8 years in the making). He started
In 97. Also when it says about the percentages how can that be a rapper? -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
It's about Mike Shinoda, his band (Fort Minor, not Linkin Park), and his friends Tak and Ryu. It basically explains who they are, what they did to make it big, and what it's like to be them.
-
I think it's about a rapper that's trying to make it big. Just to have his voice and opinions heard not to make a whole bunch of money.
