    Fighting your inner demons. Everyone has an inner demon that they must fight. Some let it escape and become criminals, others are blessed with having one light enough to ignore or barely having one at all, and then some fight it hard every day and never give in. This is about the 3rd. Fighting the demon inside.

    To me this is a song is obscure and purposefully.
    To me It represents an existential crisis of someone who has a festering demon (perhaps addiction) and sees the pain it causes to others. Yet nurtures this darkness and almost enjoys the pain It causes as it’s one of the few things he’s thats his own.
    At the same time he questions “what have I become?” how did I fall down this rabbit hole.
    It’s someone at a crossroads. The Judas is safe, it can push people away and keep a barrier up for him. But he also sees the damage it causes the innocent around him.
    Great song.

    It is about someone who realizes that they are incapable of ever overcoming
    Their personal demons and is trying to warn his loved ones to distance themselves from him.personal demons cannot be fully conquered, only temporarily pushed back, they are always waiting And watching for a moment of weakness.

    The singer is speaking to a loved one (a lover, a family member) whom he is trying to warn about how messed up he's become. Most of the song is a cry for help from the damned - a person who is reflecting on the wasted path of his life and all his horrid mistakes and actions. Chris Irvine ("Jericho") may even be referring to himself, since he is a middle-aged man, and certainly has done his share of hard living. It can also be the lament of a person who has hit bottom, or come to the end of a wasted life.

    This song is very ominous and is in fact as they say an evil song, please keep an open mind as I explain and be mindful I loved this song until just a few minutes ago i was sleeping with this song playing waking up to this realization

    Here he describes Human as we were made in the image of God the only embodiment that can ever be truly innocent and he explains how he will drag us down and sell us out, sell us to who?

    Here he describes how his soul is corrupted and again that he will sell us his fans out (Again I have been his fan since his EWC days)
    He has fallen to darkness and lost the light as he says at a time he fought this evil but continues to explain how he infact became evil

    And betrayed everyone he once loved, how? by selling us all out as Judas sold Christ out.

    I love this song got alot of meaning to it is basically when the part everyone I ever love I push alway that part I can relate because I had alot friends who backstabbed me and betrayed this song is talks about betrayal so I can relate to this...

    Since listening to judas I have realize that the judas in my mined has caused me to push love ones from me turning away from them I to fight demons everyday seems I've had a monkey on my back along time I have reached out for help there is always something in the wreckage of our life to save I do hope others finds the help they need

    The song just jives. Everything! vocals, lyrics, drums and guitar. It's perfect and just relates to some shit I've had in my life for sure. I'm sure that's why it's number 1 on iTunes.

    Such a great song! Lyrically one of the best I've heard in a very long time. The author has related with everyone in the world! Anyone; who's ever fought demons in their mind, wether it be drugs, gambling or any type of addiction. I've literally played this song a 100 plus times since I downloaded it a few hours ago.

    My opinion: he is speaking of becoming the demons, he is fighting! Betrayed everyone he loves for the demons he battles.

    Maybe an addiction; a lot of addicts lose the light, and are overcome by their demons. By pushing everyone you love out of your life, you're more likely to be overcome by your thoughts and demons.
