    It's about running out of drugs. "Little one" as in a little pill. Once the pills are gone so is the high. Once the high is gone it's like feeling as if "today I lost my only friend".

    "I'm tired, you're angry, and everyone looks blurry
    I love you, I'm leaving; so long"

    -Tired/Blurry... from being sedated on pills. I love you (addicted), I'm leaving (sobering up), So long... quitting the pills.

    -Leaving (quitting/running out of pills)...

    And it stays awake to haunt me
    So passed out, black out, drunk in another bathroom stall"

    -The places I took you, they seem so fucking empty (places of shame in life, places where drugs were aquired... most likely in filthy abandoned drug houses. Places while high may be distorted from the memory hence they "seem so fucking empty". Empty/forgotten/blurred memories.

    -Bedroom... normally a place of safety or a sanctuary. Drugs effecting sleep so "passed out, black out, drunk in another bathroom stall"... having to get drunk in a foriegn neutral environment to calm nerves and needs to pass out in order to get sleep.

    "I'm so scared of what this could have been"... the possibilty of overdosing or committing a haneous act while under the "influence".

    "Today I lost my only friend"... the only thing that has been with him through it all... is gone in his life, now that the drugs are as well.

    I really believe it's a heartbreak song involving DDLG (Daddy Dom, Little Girl) lifestyle and I love it. I thought that when I first heard after I learned he wrote it about a romantic relationship oh yes I'm convinced it most definitely is.

    I don't think he's referring to another entity. Feel it's about losing the light. Or worse, watching someone you love lose theirs.

    My initial interpretation was the passing of a child. Obviously he refers to the subject in this song as “Little One” so I always think of children as little ones.
    However, it has been revealed by the lead singer/ songwriter as a heartbreak song. He wrote this about a previous relationship with a girl he was madly in love with. He mentions how he intentionally sabotages their relationship because of all the things he had going on in his life at the time and it was just too much.
    This band is the real deal! These 3 very talented musicians are better live than in the studio and I love that real talent. You must go see their amazing and energetic live performances. You won’t regret it!

    Best friend passing. Child passing. Loved one leaving/passing. This song is fucking awesome. And like any song the meaning can go a million ways
