Imagine Dragons: Warriors Meaning
Song Released: 2014
Warriors Lyrics
As a child you would wait
And watch from far away.
But you always knew that you'd be the one
that work while they all play.
And you, you'd lay awake at night and scheme
of all the things that you would change,
but it was...

Pretty sure it's about spongebob

I think this song is the story of the Russian Revolution like you have the Bolsheviks who basically built Russia and not to turn back is like overthrowing Czar Nicholas II it's like here we are don't turn away now means not to turn back and we are the ones that built this town they built Russia. So I think like they went the historical way making this song very good song in the Russian Revolution is a very good thing to learn. I think that's what it's about and as a child they knew that they would be the ones working because when Czar Nicholas was overthrown all these other people like Trotsky and Stalin. This also reminds me about the book Animal Farm is also based on the Russian Revolution with animals instead. So that's why I think this song is about please comment if you think it's true

What this song means is how today's older generation is criticizing the new generation for ruining this world, even though the older generation were the ones who left us with this mess to deal with. The younger generation(Warriors) have accomplished so much (Here we are, don't turn away now) to fix the many mistakes (Built this town) that the world is dealing with(From dust). "Farewell, I've gone to take my throne above, But don't weep for me 'Cause this will be The labor of my love" represents the author, in the through the point of view of the new generation, passing away but happily because he knew he beat the odds that society had place in front of him and changed the world

Well in the song " farewell I've gone to take my throne above but don't weep for me cause this will be the labor of my love " is either saying that person he/she has died and leaving their great accomplishments to the people or its a religious references to Christian belief of Jesus I could be wrong tho I think it's the first thing I typed

In my opinion this song is all about kids/teens (maybe adults) getting bullied. "We are the warriors that built this town" What they are trying to say by that phrase is "We suffered enough you have no right to judge us!"

You know. You read all these hear felt descriptions of what people think it means when it's really about League of Legends. Not even kidding. Look it up. It's about League of Legends characters.

I feel like it's someone who serves in the military. Like as if their family was so poor they practically had no choice. They dreamed big from a young age but as they matured they realized that have to, and faces the enemy head-on
-
This song means a boy have a big dream.

This song has been made on demand of riot games, to be played during league of legends world tournament. Even the video show what the lyrics talk about: a boy who watching pro players playing and dreaming to be like them. Later, after he trained hard, it's came its time to shine. Hype guys :)

I believe that this song is about the people in a community who care. The kid who did their work despite the harsh ridicule. When the son says here we are, i feel that it means that the person has found others like him. People who are willing to fight for something better. And now its time for them to rise and claim their throne and lead the followers to greatness. Will you follow?
