Immortal Technique: Dance with the Devil Meaning
Dance with the Devil Lyrics
-
The song breaks that hardcore thug rap that is tradtiionally sung by Immortal Technique. This song is profound and powerful. Now he claims the song is true, but he did not rape the mother of Billy Jacobs. Nonetheless, after a psychological evaluation, someone could probably conclude that this is the day in the life of someone who has had very little to grow up with.
Honestly, there are so many things that make this song somewhat unrealistic, Immortal doesn't hold back at a lot of parts. The emotion and way he sings it though tell the listener otherwise. His purpose of the song is that people get so caught up in money and things of that nature they will cut a deal with devil just to become rich, famous or both.
The change of personality is the most powerful part, and then the parts where he mentions that "God's children that fell from the top"
A dance with the devil might last you forever.
"i've fallen and I can't turn back"
