La Cancion Lyrics
Pensaba que te había olvidao, eh
Pero pusieron la canción, eh, eh, eh
Que cantamos bien borrachos
Que bailamos bien borrachos
Nos besamos bien borrachos los dos
Pensaba que te había olvidao, eh
Pero pusieron la canción, eh,...

One of the best Spanish song I've ever heard.
I'm not Hispanic but after translating the words, I realized that there's a lot of meaning behind this song.
Firstly, it's about the fact that even though she's gone with another man, and that he left her, he still thinks of her whenever the song comes back on. He remembers everything and realizes that her name is still in his mind whenever the song being played.
Secondly, the song brings flashback memories. The kiss, the love and the RDV they had, reminded him of how he was actually happy with her and that it made him smile.
Third, it's a breakup song. He feels that sometimes he still wants to be with her but he has to face the consequences and keep moving on.
*This is for you mi amor: "every time I listen to this song, I wish I'd known before that we'd ended up like this. If I knew before, I would have done everything before while listening to this song. I would have kissed you more, talk to you more and most importantly, stay in your arms a little longer. I miss you so much you have no idea. My heart breaks thinking if it were real or fake from the beginning. I wish I could be more like you, learn how to get over someone fast. You truly are both my happiness and my weakness. Until next time. xoxo"
