The song is about heroin coming down the mountain as in coming down from a binge...crawling out of your flesh from withdrawing,I met a child who had pin eyes we had the same opinions as in pink eyes from heroin and having the same opinions as in using the same drug and sharing that lifestyle.Holding it back hurts so bad as in she’s holding the drugs and he’s withdrawing and that hurts.Cashing in as in getting money to score more H

To ME the song is about people being scared to be themselves and share what they think. Coming down the mountain is living life. Too worried about what others will think if you think different and it burns so bad not to be who you are that you finally jump out and of your flesh cause you cant deal with not being yourself anymore and when you do you find someone like you(Could be interpreted as a love song as well)so then you finally realize you're not so weird and different from everyone and everyone is just as different as you just in different ways. Cashing in would be the act of being yourself. Cashing in means your finished with the way you were living and also the payout from cashing in is knowing and being yourself which is a priceless feeling. Plus you get the girl like you which could be good or bad lol
