Josh Groban: Remember When It Rained Meaning
Song Released: 2004
Remember When It Rained Lyrics
that keep my mind away from you.
No more love, and no more pride-
and thoughts are all I have to do.
Ooh, REMEMBER WHEN IT RAINED.
I felt the ground, and looked up high and called your name.
Ooh, REMEMBER WHEN...

I have wondered about the interpretation of this song. I seem to think this song is about someone who is depressed and contemplating suicide.

in the water I remain running down this is the part that I love and feel right now. when you lose loved ones more esp if they were the ones who comforts u through it all,u feel like ure thrown into the sea when ure not able to swim and the one who can save is not there like the other days so u have to make it on ur own and yet its hard and u feel like ure drowning and yet helpless...no one to save u because ur pillar of strength is no more...someone who gives u courage to make things that seem impossible to u possible. Its very hard

This song pulls on my heart strings like a heavy anchor.
My Mom passed away in the month of April 2014. It just so happens to be a very rainy month. I would purposely go outside stand in the rain and grieve for the passing of my Mom.
