Breaking the Law Lyrics

There I was completely wasting, out of work and down
All inside its so frustrating as I drift from town to town
Feel as though nobody cares if I live or die
So I might as well begin to put some action in my life

Breaking the law, breaking...

your all close but below is what the band said.. Its about not being able to find a job and if you could not find a job how could you live and eat etc. Thus you would find yourself doing the same thing to for SURVIVAL.

"The lyrics tell of someone at the rock bottom in their life - out of work, unable to find work, frustrated, feeling that nobody cares if they live or die, eventually turning to crime for survival"

The song is about someone who is frustrated with their life and feels that nothing is going right for them so they might as well resort to breaking the law since no one cares. Basically Rob is talking about all the youth who have ever left school and etc to go out n there own and when they left school were pretty much told that they'll get everything(they never told you though you had to work for it) and all the people saying "Oh life is easy yadda yadda" don't get it hence the "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE!!!!"

I'm gay ... my life is getting away from me ... fuck it .. I'm going to have gay sex. I know it breaks all the rules .. you don't know what it's like. If you did, you'd understand and be doing the same thing too. Have a nice day.

This song is saying that when no one cares about you (including yourself) you resort to doing fun crazy shit like breaking the law.

I think the song is about how a criminal is come to be. "There I was completely wasting, out of work and down/All inside its so frustrating as I drift from town to town/Feel as though nobody cares if I live or die/So I might as well begin to put some action in my life"

That right there tells me that the guys life is not going so well and every time he tries to take one step forward he ends up falling four steps backwards and just can't get anywhere in life. Find a good job he can stick with and to prove that then read this "So much for the golden future, I can't even start/I've had every promise broken, there's anger in my heart"
You don't know what its like, you don't have a clue
If you did youd find yourselves doing the same thing too"
to sum it all up...hes a guy with a shitty life, noone cares about him, he can't get nowhere in life so he turns to BREAKING THE LAW, BREAKING THE LAW!

Breaking the law..I think it's about how people do crazy things at desperate times.. Steal.. and how no one seems to care because they lie.. It's a very crazy world we live in.. very fucked up..

Breaking the law takes the listener into the perspective of someone who is on their last limb. No job and having no money makes people resort to things they normally won't such as breaking the law. This song is a good example of that type of situation.
