Judas Priest: Living After Midnight Meaning
Song Released: 1980
Living After Midnight Lyrics
-
It's a song about cruising for dudes...
-
Hmm...looks to me it's about a strip club. (Example, Livin' After Midnight, rockin' to the dawn, lovin' till the morning, then I'm gone.) "Rockin' to the dawn"= partying all night and drinking. "Then I'm gone"= a hangover and sleeping the day away. "Gettin' hotter by the hour, loaded, loaded"= meaning being 'loaded' on drugs (Example, loaded, loaded.) "Hotter by the hour"= you get so hot that you pass out from the drinking and drug dealing. To me it seems like a strip club in L.A., but blame me if I'm wrong. :/

I think The Song is about someone who is a Big Night Owl. Stays up very late and goes to bed sometime around 7 to 9 in the morning. Then he probably wakes up around 3 to 5 in the afternoon, That's if he gets 8 hours of sleep like most average people do. Like the song says in the Chorus:Living after Midnight, Rocking to the Dawn, Loving till the Morning, Then I'm Gone, I'm Gone. By gone I think he means he got tired and went to bed.
