Maze Lyrics

Stuck in a maze
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Stuck in a maze, mmh
Stuck in a maze
Everything's okay but it's not really okay
My life's a death race
I'm numbing my pain with codeine rain
I'm going insane
Life's not the same
Stuck in a maze
I'm...

I think Juice feels as if every effort he makes to try and better his mental health and drug abuse, he just can’t. No matter which way he turns or which way he tries to “escape” this “maze”, there’s just no way out, hence why the song is called Maze. “Everything’s okay, but it’s not really okay” if you struggle with mental health issues yourself, you already know what this line means. I think all of his songs on Death Race for Love, are a cry for help which sadly he didn’t receive before his passing.

I believe that this song is simply explaining in life in the industry. Many have thought that one is living their best life when you're in such position not knowing that there are certain things you have to give up when you're there. Juice have spoken about being tormented and is using drugs to cope with his situation. No amount of his drugs he took couldn't numb the pain. Maze is being stuck in a, let say in a situation where you cant get out easily. His album Death Race for Love is him crying out for help and on more than one track he have spoke about overdosing.
It's sad to know such a young son was caught up in this. RIP JW.

Drugs help cope with society and he feels as if he’s trapped inside

In my opinion it's about him going through his everyday life and it's like he's in the exact same spot he's always been like the money and fame don't help him cope with depression and drug abuse.
