Karmin: Acapella Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Acapella Lyrics
Used to be your baby, used to be your lady
Thought you were the perfect lover
All the harmony went fallin' out of key, so
Now you gotta find another
Now you're talkin' crazy, sayin' that you made me
Like I was your Cinderella
You...

I think she using him for money because the song she says her mother is correct when she says to get a man for the money and not their heart. but when the backfired and he didn't give her the love she wanted along with ignoring the expensive things she wanted to have and do she broke up with him. the rest of the song talks about how she is better without him and how she will get what she wants on her own.
I hope my guess is good ^u^ -
This song is about the ending of a relationship she's over with now and better off alone. Lots of songs talk about breakups. She's fine without him. That's right because you can do bad all by yourself
-
She is out of a relationship and her ex wants her back. But she also used him at first but then realized that she could do things on her own.
-
i think it means that she only dated him to used him for his money and other reasons, things were going really well until he started bragging about himself and how he made her and stuff, she got mad and kind of proved to him that she can do something and went acapella
-
i think it means that she thought he was someone she might actually like but then saw the real true side of him, and she said that he was always thought he could do anything, so she proved to him that she is just as equally important and got revenge by saying she can fly solo in terms the word acapella (acapella is when you do music from your mouth all alone so you get what she's trying to say). So basically she's trying to say that don't let one person tear you down there are many fish in the sea, and don't let anyone put you down in size
