Song Released: 2005
Suddenly I See Lyrics
Is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about MUSIC look at the clues
"it makes you calm"
"people feels the benefits of it"
"I feel like walking the world"
"makes you remember things you've heard" -
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:She is singing about herself and all the pretty girls of the world. It's about "women's empowerment" and showing their inner and outter beauty! Hence the "Suddenly I see why the hell it means so much to me!"

3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:i take this song as her being a lesbian and talking a woman she’s in love with. i take the lyrics “suddenly i see, this is what i want to be, suddenly i see, why the hell it means so much to me” as her saying she’s realizing she is a lesbian and wants to be proud about it, and she is seeing why she is attracted to women.
-
This song is about the Earth
"I feel like walking the world... you can see she's a beautiful girl" "her face is a map of the world"
"she keeps you captivated in her palm" might refer to mother nature or palm trees or possibly contradicts this interpretation -
It's about self empowerment but It can fit very well as a lesbian anthem. I use it as one anyway. I think either way its about strong women being themselves. It is a good track to play when looking at your lesbian crush though lol
-
never liked the idea of deeper meanings ill take it how i hear it.i dont need 100 characters to say it. songs gay
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I think she's singing about herself and what she wants. It could also be about how she sees women as a way of empowerment.
-
Women empowerment
-
To me I feel like this song is a way to tell girls to just be nicer to each other and be more positive because when your happy and smiling it makes you look more beautiful hence why “she holds you captivated in her hand”
-
This song is referring to her aspiing to be like the girl in a magazine and how the lifestyle the girl is living sounds empowering to her, what she was meant to do in life. It does sound very romantic though.
-
At first I thought this was a lesbian song but as I continued to listen closer I started to see she was really talking about how she wants to be a strong, beautiful woman like the woman she's singing about. Beautiful.
-
It is about music.
In the song she sings about music as though it were a person, a girl at that. This is like when a man refers to his car (or other form of transportation) as a girl.
"Her face is a map of the world."
Music is universal (it's everywhere, and each
piece gives a bit of that culture to the listener).
The positive things about this "girl" are all
things that she has experienced, or observed, personally. The song basically tells why music is important to her; "Suddenly I see, why the hell you mean so much to me." -
She's a flippin lesbo!!! She sees a pretty girl and now she sees that that's what she wants to be! A lesbo! At least that's what I heard from a friend!
-
Or does it mean she is gay?
