This song is about Fred's relationship with the management of Limp Bizkit's record label. The record label has called the shots for the band since the Significant Other Album and now that the band has grown, Fred and the rest of the band want to call the shots from now on. They are basically telling the record label to f*** off if they don't let the band do what they want to do.

I think this song is about a guy who's fed up of been "under the thumb" of his girlfriend, it sees to me they always do what she likes and what she wants to do but this is the point where he finally cracks and says he can't take it anymore thus the "its my way or the highway"

I think this song is about living life your own way and nobody elses. Choosing what you want to do not the other persons.

It's a song about a man who suffered through a traumatic experience in a toxic relationship with his ex-girlfriend. He then insists that we will not let go of his experience unless he beats up his ex-girlfriend, hence the phrases "Just one more fight." and "it's my way or the highway"

I know it’s not but I was thinking what if this was Wes talking about Fred durst. I mean it was after this album he left the band and Wes wrote most of the music for limp Bizkit. Could be the ultimate troll move but just a thought I had lol.

This song is that you should not be controlled by others and you shouldn't take any shit from anyone else and that you are and should be free to do whatever the fuck you want.

It's about a bloke who's constantly getting put down by his 'significant other' & he's not going to put up with it anymore, hence "it's my way or the highway."

This song is about a young army private who is treated like dirt by his ranking officer "you think your special, you do, I can see it in your eyes, I can see it when laugh at me, look down on me, walk around on me, just one more fight about your leadership and I will straight up leave your shit" he's put up with enough and he just can't stand it anymore so he leaves, and he's gonna speak his mind and not go unheard."this time im'a let it all come out this time im'a gonna spit it up and shout" "someday you'll see things my way" as a result the recruitment of soilders has dropped dramaticlly. now he will get on with his life that doesn't involve the defence force " he had enough of the military life and now he's gonna live his way "im'a do things my way, it's my way, my way on the highway"
